With over 160 attorneys, Whiteford, Taylor & Preston is one of Maryland's largest law firms. Based in Baltimore, with offices in Towson and Columbia, Maryland; Washington, D.C.; Falls Church, Virginia; and Wilmington, Delaware, we serve clients throughout the nation as well as national companies and law firms seeking representation in the mid-Atlantic area.

Our clients range from Fortune 500 companies to small businesses to start-up enterprises. They include businesses engaged in construction, finance, higher education, health care, insurance, manufacturing, transportation, real estate, securities, and technology, among others. We help our clients arrange financial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and public offerings. Additionally, we advise companies and organizations of all size on tax, employment, and real estate matters.

Whiteford, Taylor & Preston has a long history of giving back to its community, both through financial donations and pro bono contributions of legal services. In 2007, we increased our annual charitable giving budget by approximately 10% and made charitable contributions to over 120 nonprofit organizations and foundations in support of capital and annual campaigns and community initiatives. In 2006, we provided over $1.8 million in free legal services to residents and organizations in Maryland, the District of Columbia, and Virginia. Additionally, our attorneys and staff serve on a variety of local community and nonprofit organization boards.
