Whiteford, Taylor & Preston is known regionally for its commitment to providing pro bono legal representation.  In 2005, our attorneys devoted 5,975 hours of pro bono service to those in need within our communities.  In serving others, we explore the depths of human compassion. 

With the advent of our Global Practice Group, we continue our dedication to helping others at little to no cost.  Practicing pro bono legal representation internationally requires a different approach; our attorneys have formulated five specific areas of service - fair trade, intellectual asset protection, legal reform, microfinance, and non-government organizations. We invite our clients who have active CSR programs (corporate social responsibility) to join us in our work.
