Al Mezzanotte Honored by the University of Baltimore

Baltimore, MD – Whiteford, Taylor & Preston (WTP) is delighted to announce that Albert J. Mezzanotte, Jr., was honored yesterday with the H. Mebane Turner Service Award at the University of Baltimore’s 39th Annual Alumni luncheon at the Belvedere Hotel. 

Named after the former president of the University of Baltimore, H. Mebane “Meb” Turner, the award recognizes those volunteers deemed “shining stars” in honor of the contributions to the University’s continued welfare. 

Mezzanotte, the firm’s managing partner, is a business litigator.  Listed in the 2005-2006 edition of Best Lawyers in America, he is Chair of the University of Baltimore School of Law Advisory Counsel and Director of the Harford Mutual Insurance Company.  Mezzanotte is a member of the YMCA of Central Maryland’s Board of Directors, McDaniel College’s Board of Trustees, the Attorney Grievance Commission Inquiry Committee, Defense Research Institute, Maryland State Bar Association, American Bar Association, Baltimore City Bar Association, Howard County Bar Association, and the District of Columbia Bar Association.
