Baltimore Jury awards $2.7M to Inmate Assaulted by Correctional Officers

Finding that prison officials failed to take adequate steps to protect inmate Kevin Younger, a Baltimore jury has awarded Mr. Younger $2.7 million.  Represented at trial by Whiteford attorneys Dave Daneman and Allen Honick, Mr. Younger was assaulted in 2013 by several officers at the Maryland Reception, Diagnostics & Classification Center in Baltimore, the day after he witnessed other inmates assaulting a guard.
