Edward U. Lee, III, to Chair the Commercial Real Estate Discussion Group of the MSBA's Section of Real Property, Planning & Zoning

Baltimore - June 28, 2005 - Whiteford Taylor & Preston L.L.P. is pleased to announce that Edward U. Lee, III , an associate in the Baltimore Real Estate section, has been appointed Chair of the Commercial Real Estate Discussion Group of the Real Property, Planning and Zoning Section of the Maryland State Bar Association ("MSBA"). The mission of the Real Property and Zoning Section of the MSBA is to bring together real estate and land use practitioners from around the state concerned with the law that relates to real property, and generally to promote the interest and welfare of the public and members of the Bar in the field of real property. More than 1,500 Maryland real estate lawyers are members of the Section. Mr. Lee counsels numerous clients, providing advice with regard to all aspects of complex commercial real estate transactions, including acquisition, development, financing, leasing and sales of residential subdivisions, multi-family shopping centers, industrial parks and office buildings. Mr. Lee is a member of the American Bar Association, the Maryland Bar Association, the Urban Land Institute, and the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties. Mr. Lee received his J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law, cum laude, in 1996 and his B.A. from the University of Richmond in 1993. Mr. Lee lives in Baltimore County with his family.
