Managing Partner-Elect Martin T. Fletcher Named to Board of Economic Alliance of Greater Baltimore

Baltimore - Martin T. Fletcher, managing partner-elect of Whiteford, Taylor & Preston LLP (WTP), has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Economic Alliance of Greater Baltimore. A member of the firm's Management Committee since 2006, Fletcher is a partner in the firm's Corporate Restructuring and Business sections. He is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Maryland Bankruptcy Bar Association, the American Bankruptcy Institute, and the Federal Bar Association, where he serves on the Board of Governors for the Maryland Chapter. Fletcher has served on the Board of Trustees for Friends Meeting School, and is currently on the board of the Maryland Institute for Continuing Professional Education of Lawyers. He was recognized as one of Maryland's Super Lawyers in 2007 and 2008.
