New Partners Elected at Whiteford Taylor & Preston

Whiteford, Taylor & Preston is delighted to announce that Thomas J. Francella, Jr., Eileen Morgan Johnson, and Dennis M. Robinson, Jr. have been named Partners of the firm, effective as of January 1, 2011.
The firm's managing partner, Martin T. Fletcher, commented, "It is a privilege to welcome such fine attorneys into their new and expanded roles within the firm. They are each making tremendous contributions to the growth of our multistate offices and our expanding client base."

Mr. Francella is a bankruptcy litigator, based in the firm's Wilmington office. He represents secured and unsecured creditors, debtors, financial institutions and secured lenders, unsecured creditors' committees and investors in complex Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings and related litigation. He received his law degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1998 and his undergraduate degree from West Chester University in 1992. He is admitted to practice in Delaware and Florida.

Ms. Johnson who has over 25 years of experience advising nonprofit organizations and associations on a wide variety of legal issues, is co-chair of the firm's Nonprofit Organizations group and is based in the firm's Falls Church office. Prior to joining the firm, she had been general counsel at the National Wildlife Federation. Her J.D. is from Brigham Young University (1982) and her B.A. is from the College of William and Mary (1979). She is admitted to practice in California, the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia.

Mr. Robinson is a business litigator, and has represented businesses in state and federal trial and appellate courts in a wide variety of complex commercial matters. He is based in the firm's Baltimore office. In addition to his litigation experience, Mr. Robinson is actively involved in many local business, charitable and community organizations. He is a 2002 graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law, and he received his undergraduate degree from Towson University in 1997. He is admitted to practice in Maryland and several federal courts.
