Are you ready to be your own boss? Then it’s time to purchase a dental practice! When you finally find that “perfect” practice, you will want to present a letter of intent (LOI) to the seller. Your broker or CPA may provide you with a “fill-in-the-blank” form, and this may be adequate if it contains the fundamental terms of a dental practice purchase. What’s the main goal? To deal with all of the fundamental issues up front before spending too much time and money. If there are “deal killers,” they can be addressed early before you become emotionally attached to the dental practice.
