Thomas Barbuti of Whiteford Appointed ICSC Committee Chair

Baltimore -- Whiteford Taylor & Preston LLP announced today that the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) has appointed Thomas C. Barbuti for a one-year term as Chair of its Government Relations Committee for Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Northern Virginia. In this volunteer role, Mr. Barbuti will represent the interests of owners, developers, investors, marketers and other retail specialists in the mid-Atlantic.

Mr. Barbuti is a well-known real estate lawyer in Maryland, who has been practicing for over 30 years. He has been active and held leadership roles in the Section Council for the Real Property Section of the Maryland State Bar Association, and has received many honors and distinctions in his career, including being elected to the prestigious American College of Real Estate Lawyers.  Mr. Barbuti is listed in Best Lawyers in America and in Chambers USA.
