Vietnam is one of the fastest growing economies in Southeast Asia and is quickly becoming the place for American companies to invest. Since the normalization of diplomatic relations between our two countries in 1995, the U.S. has become one of Vietnam's biggest foreign investors. Two-way trade with Vietnam hit $15.4 billion in 2009, up from only $451 million 15 years ago.
Other speakers will include Alex Koff of Whiteford, Taylor & Preston, LLP, and Mr. Bill Burwell, a trade specialist at the Department of Commerce.
From 10:00-10:30AM, networking opportunities will be available with a visiting Vietnamese business delegation.
