This one hour panel-format webinar focuses on the legal and practical issues presented by legalization of medical marijuana, with the final 15 minutes reserved for Q & A.

Key topics to be addressed are:

  • The intersection between the Americans with Disabilities Act and Maryland's Medical Marijuana laws.  How do these laws impact reasonable accommodation requests?
  • The interplay between federal and state housing laws, specifically as they pertain to seniors.  Can an assisted living facility prohibit residents from consuming medical marijuana in a state where such activity is legal?
  • A summary of medical marijuana-related legislation enacted in 2018.  What can we expect the Maryland legislature to take up during the next term?
