Mr. Hopewell focuses his practice on representing corporations in mergers and acquisitions, finance transactions, including equity offerings and debt financing, and securities matters. His corporate work includes contract drafting, incorporations and business research as well as providing business and legal advice to companies. 

He also works with companies in commercial real estate matters such as representing borrowers in the acquisition, divestiture and financing (through traditional bank loans and other financing techniques) of unimproved and improved real property including apartment complexes, office buildings, shopping centers and warehouses. 

Mr. Hopewell has worked extensively with a bank holding company/community bank on a wide range of matters. 

He has also worked with a number of public companies in matters relating to reporting and filing requirements, including the preparation of proxy statements and reviewing reports on Form 10-Q and Form 10-K. Additionally, he has worked on a number of public offerings and various stock transfer issues.
