Date: November 3, 2015

Baltimore – The 2016 edition of U.S. News and World Report – Best Lawyers® “Best Law Firms” has ranked Whiteford, Taylor & Preston with exemplary ratings in the sixth annual rankings of law firms.

Twenty-two different practices were ranked at the national level, as well as twenty-three in Baltimore, eleven in Washington, D.C., and two in Roanoke, VA.  “To be ranked in so many practices, both nationally and also in Maryland, D.C. and Virginia, speaks to the broad-based strengths of the firm.  Our goal is to be our clients’ most trusted advisors, no matter what industry they are in, no matter what kind of legal issues they face.  Based on the U.S. News & World Report research, we seem to be succeeding,” said Martin T. Fletcher, Managing Partner.

The U.S. News – Best Lawyers® “Best Law Firms” rankings are based on a rigorous evaluation process that includes the collection of client and lawyer evaluations, peer review from leading attorneys in their fields, and review of additional information provided by law firms as part of the formal submission process.
