Mr. McCarthy is an associate in the firm’s Corporate and Securities practice. He advises clients on various matters related to corporate governance.

His experience includes serving as a Judicial Intern to the Honorable Henry E. Hudson of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia and as Legal Extern to the General Counsel at the University of Richmond. He previously served in the U.S. Navy as a Surface Warfare Officer for five years, completing two deployments on Destroyer class ships.
