Whiteford Continues Expansion in DC with Addition of White Collar Criminal and National Security Attorney

Whiteford, Taylor & Preston LLP is pleased to announce that Christopher Chaisson has joined the firm as Counsel in Washington, D.C.  With a background in both law and national security, he will focus on the firm’s growing international practice.

Mr. Chaisson has extensive experience in national security, international negotiations, risk and crisis management and investigations. He is an experienced advisor to clients in the government contracting and other sectors on matters of criminal law and domestic and international compliance, including False Claims Act, sanctions compliance, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and FCPA matters. A former organized crime prosecutor who served as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York, he served for nearly 12 years as an Operations Officer for the Central Intelligence Agency. Chris also maintains advanced professional proficiency in Persian/Farsi and is proficient in Dari.
