Whiteford Continues Expansion with Prominent Government Contracts Hires

Whiteford, Taylor & Preston announced that Ralph C. Thomas III and Sean Trice have joined the firm’s Washington, D.C. office in the Government Contracts practice.
 
Mr. Thomas brings his substantial business, corporate and federal contracts experience to small and middle market companies across a wide range of industries. He has represented clients before the Small Business Administration, the General Accountability Office, Civilian & Armed Services Boards of Contract Appeals and other federal agencies. Author of more than 80 articles on business and government contract law matters, he has served as the Associate Administrator for Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization at NASA and the Executive Director of the National Association of Minority Contractors. The recipient of numerous awards, he has testified in Congress more than 30 times on small business issues and been a speaker at small business conferences across the country, as well as in Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and South America.

Mr. Trice is experienced in government contracts as both an attorney and an executive and serves government contractors in the role of outside general counsel. He brings extensive corporate, business and entrepreneurial experience to his role as an advisor to entrepreneurs and businesses at every stage on matters from corporate formation, structuring and capital raising to risk mitigation, compliance and mergers and acquisitions.
