International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC), Rising Star Semi-Finalist

The International Women's Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC) has recognized Kelly E. McCauley, a Pittsburgh-based Partner with Whiteford, Taylor & Preston, as a semi-finalist for it's 11th Annual Rising Star Award.  The IWIRC Rising Star Award is bestowed upon an IWIRC member with 8 or fewer years of experience in her respective field who has achieved considerable professional success and displayed a high-level of commitment to advancing IWIRC's mission-enhancing the professional status of women in the insolvency and restructuring profession - at the local, national and/or international levels. . The honorees will be recognized at a special ceremony during the IWIRC Spring Conference in Washington, D.C. on April 27 and 28, 2022.

Ms. McCauley is a restructuring professional with significant experience in healthcare, oil & gas, coal, food and beverage, manufacturing, metals and retail. She is solutions-focused and therefore formulates and implements strategies tailored to solving clients’ problems in the most efficient manner possible. Ms. McCauley represents debtors, creditors’ committees, trade creditors, asset purchasers, secured creditors, equity holders and other stakeholders in insolvency proceedings and out-of-court workouts. Ms. McCauley likewise provides businesses with counsel and preventative training to minimize legal risk while maximizing productivity and value.
